Ecuadorian tops fan poll as best Premier League player in 10th round of matches.

Chelsea's Moises Caicedo has been voted Player of the Matchweek for Matchweek 10.

He becomes the first player to be voted Player of the Matchweek twice this season, after claiming the honour in Matchweek 7.

Caicedo delivered a trademark powerhouse performance in Chelsea’s 1-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur.

He made two tackles and four interceptions, along with seven ball recoveries, with two of those interventions coming in one amazing sequence as he dispossessed both Djed Spence and Micky van de Ven and set up Joao Pedro to score the winning goal.

Caicedo picked up 30 per cent of the fan vote in Matchweek 10, while his closest challenger, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, received 23 per cent.

The other six nominees were Declan Rice (16 per cent), Freddie Potts (14 per cent), Dominik Szoboszlai (12 per cent), Diego Gomez and Ryan Sessegnon (both two per cent), plus Jefferson Lerma (one per cent).
