Frankfurt have completed the signing of Sebastian Rode from Borussia Dortmund, the club have announced.
Rode, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Frankfurt, has put pen to paper on a deal until 2024.
The 28-year-old made 12 Bundesliga appearances last season.
Eintracht Frankfurt will pay Borussia Dortmund four million euros (plus two million euros in potential bonuses) for Sebastian Rode’s signature.
Rode spent four years in his first spell with Eintracht Frankfurt, before signing for Bayern Munich on a free transfer in 2014. He moved to Borussia Dortmund two years later for 12 million euros, and it’s fair to say that things haven’t worked out for the midfielder at the Westfalenstadion.
