OFFICIAL: Emiliano Martinez wins the 2023 Yachine Trophy award
In 2010, at the age of 17, Emi Martinez left Argentina to join Arsenal's youth team.
Reflecting on that moment, Martinez said, “I saw my brother and mom cry, saying: ‘Please don’t go.’ But I had also seen my dad crying late at night because he could not pay the bills. So I had to be brave.”
Today, his dad surprised Emi by presenting him with the best goalkeeper award. 💙
