Official announcement: Internazionale has announced a strategic partnership with REPT Battero, a Chinese lithium-ion battery manufacturer.
According to FCInter1908, REPT Battero, a Chinese battery and energy storage system manufacturer, has been named Internazionale's "Official Global Partner for Batteries and Energy Storage." The partnership was publicly unveiled in Munich, with former Internazionale legend Lothar Matthäus in attendance. REPT Battero is owned by China's Tsingshan Holding Group and reported revenues of RMB 24.33 billion with net profit of RMB 681 million in 2024.
In the first quarter of 2025, REPT Battero ranked first globally in shipments of residential, commercial, and industrial energy storage batteries. The company showcased its new 6.9MWh Powtrix Energy Storage System and 320Ah sodium-ion battery cells at Intersolar Europe, advancing its expansion in the European market.
Company executives stated that Matthäus' presence marked a "symbolic moment" bridging the sports and energy sectors. Both parties emphasized that this partnership with Internazionale aims to raise awareness of clean energy and industrial innovation while promoting sustainable development and strengthening international visibility.
