Juventus announces a new addition to its attack: Loïs Openda is officially a Juventus player .

A Belgian striker born in 2000, Openda arrives in Turin after having distinguished himself in Europe with his speed, power, and great eye for goal.

Born in Liège, he gradually built his career across Belgium, Holland, France, and Germany: since 2018, he has played for Club Brugge, Vitesse, Lens, and finally Leipzig, winning over fans everywhere with his ability to attack deep and make an impact in decisive moments.

The Belgian national team has already shown its full talent, with almost 30 caps, proving that it can also be a protagonist on the international stage.

Only five players have scored more than 50 goals and provided more than 15 assists from 2022/23 onwards in Europe’s top five leagues: Loïs Openda, Mohamed Salah, Robert Lewandowski, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland.

Since 2023/24, Loïs Openda has scored 33 goals and provided 12 assists in the Bundesliga; among players in the top five European leagues with more than 30 goals and 10 assists in the same period, only Cole Palmer (born 2002) is younger than the 2000 Belgian.

Looking further ahead, since 2022/23, Loïs Openda has scored 54 goals and provided 16 assists in the league; among players in the top five European leagues with at least 50 goals and 10 assists in the same period, only Erling Haaland (21/07/2000) is younger than the Belgian (16/02/2000).

Loïs Openda is one of only two players to have surpassed 30 goals and 10 assists in the Bundesliga from 2023/24 onwards, along with Harry Kane: 33 goals and 12 assists for the Belgian striker.
