Harvey Elliott has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool until 2027
The 19-year-old signed his latest contract with the club just 12 months ago but has already put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him stay at Anfield until 2027.
The deal is a reflection of his continuing development and is in keeping with their policy of rewarding players on the basis of individual progress and team contribution.
Elliott, an attacking midfielder who can also be played on the wing, will be challenging for a starting place in the Merseyside club's midfield with the new Premier League season underway.
Thiago Alcantara's hamstring injury has opened the door for Elliott to stake a claim for himself in the club's serial winning midfield alongside skipper Jordan Henderson and Brazilian stalwart Fabinho.
