PSV have announced the signing of Ruben van Bommel, who joins from AZ in a deal said to be worth €16 million plus a 10% sell-on fee.
It emerged last week that the Dutch champions wanted to sign the son of former player and manager Mark to replace Noa Lang, who is heading to Napoli for around €30 million.
Now, the move has been confirmed, with the winger returning to the club he spent seven years of his youth career at.
"I couldn't have written it better than this," said Van Bommel.
"To play for PSV 1 myself is secretly something I've always dreamed of. I've always had in my head that if PSV would report, that I would really like to go there."
