Premier League newcomers Sunderland have officially announced the signing of Ivorian winger Simon Adingra from Brighton.
In their statement, Sunderland confirmed that Adingra has signed a five-year contract with the club, becoming their sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
Speaking after completing the move, Adingra said:

I’ve spoken to everyone here, and their interest in me made the decision very easy—I want to be part of Sunderland’s future. It’s been a dream of mine since I was young to play in the Premier League, so continuing here is amazing. Big challenges lie ahead—we’ll face top players and strong teams—but I’m ready for it.”
According to earlier reports, the transfer fee for the deal is £20.5 million.
