A statement on the club website reads: "Real Madrid CF reports that our players Courtois, Valverde, Camavinga and Vinicius Jr. have tested positive for COVID-19."
La Liga's protocol states that all the players who test positive for COVID-19 must stay in isolation for 10 days.
Courtois, Vinicius, Camavinga and Valverde will miss the games against Getafe, Alcoyano and (probably) Valencia.
Goalkeeper Lunin could play the NEXT game for Real Madrid as his competitor, Thibaut Courtois, was tested POSITIVE for Covid-19. Ancelotti will also have to find a replacement for Vinicius Junior, with Eden Hazard as the main candidate to start on Real Madrid’s left wing until the Brazilian attacker is back. Rodrygo and Marco Asensio are both back and should start on the right flank.
Luckily enough, the four players seem to be just fine and should recover in time for the home match against Valencia on January 8th.
