The Dutch national team has officially announced that Weghorst has withdrawn from the squad due to poor physical condition.
Previously, the Netherlands had already called up Strasbourg striker Emegha in case Weghorst was unavailable. The Netherlands will face Poland away in the 9th round of the European World Cup qualifiers.
