Beijing Time (CEST) June 11, FIFA officially announced that Saadane and Sbai have replaced Abde and Aguerd in Morocco's World Cup squad.
Morocco had previously announced its World Cup roster, with Saadan and Amine Sibai selected as alternate players. According to reports, both Abde and Aguerd have suffered injuries.
Saadane is 34 years old, plays as a defender, and currently plays for Al Fateh. Amine Sbai is 25 years old, plays as a forward, and currently plays for Angers SCO.
On June 13 (UTC time), Morocco will face its first group stage opponent, Brazil.
