On February 27, the draw for the UEFA Champions League knockout stage was completed, with Paris Saint-Germain set to face Chelsea once again. It will be a rematch between the two sides since last season’s FIFA Club World Cup final.
In the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, Chelsea defeated Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 to claim the first title since the tournament’s revamp.
Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have also met numerous times in the Champions League. Their most recent encounter came in the 2015/16 season, when PSG knocked out Chelsea with an aggregate score of 4-2 in the round of 16 after winning both legs.
