Ottolini has built up a solid background in international club football over several years.

After ending his active playing career in 2002, he immediately chose to move on to a leadership role. There he focused on scouting and organisational development.
In 2015, he started an international chapter in Anderlecht, where he contributed to the building and development of the Belgian club's scouting activities.
His first spell at Juventus began in 2018, when he joined the club's international scouting department.
Over the next four years, he worked primarily on following players on loan and maintaining contact with international clubs.
At the same time, he closely followed the development of contracted players, especially those who played abroad.
After his time in Turin, his career continued in a leading role at Genoa.
Now the next chapter awaits, again at Juventus, but this time with overall responsibility.
Juventus now officially confirms that Ottolini will take over as the new sporting director.
