Paris St-Germain wasted a host of glorious chances and saw a last-minute penalty overturned by the referee as they were held to a disappointing draw by PSV Eindhoven.

1-1

Match Report

Arguably without a major goal threat since the summer departure of superstar Kylian Mbappe, the home side were left to rue a pair of sitters missed by winger Ousmane Dembele as they made it just four points from their opening three games.

Referee Glenn Nyberg pointed to the spot when Olivier Boscagli slid in on Marco Asensio - but the official was sent to check replays, which showed the defender got the ball, and changed his decision to a corner.

PSG have now only scored twice in their three Champions League games this season and needed a helping hand to get their leveller against the Dutch champions.

Noa Lang finished brilliantly to put PSV ahead against the run of play. Joao Neves gave the ball away cheaply in midfield and the winger took full advantage, lashing in at the near post.

Dembele had already hit the crossbar from six yards out and blazed another great chance over by that stage, with top scorer Bradley Barcola also going close from a tight angle.

The forwards were rescued after the break when right-back Achraf Hakimi drilled in a swerving shot from 25 yards, which goalkeeper Walter Benitez let fly between his legs and in.

Hakimi hit another great effort wide as PSG racked up 26 efforts on goal, but they could not find a winner - with Mauro Junior coming close to a shock winner for the visitors late on when he curled wide.
