Luis Diaz scored both goals for Bayern in the first half before he was sent off for a wild tackle that forced PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi to leave the match. PSG also lost Ousmane Dembele to another injury.
PSG midfielder Vitinha called the contest a meeting between Europe's two "best teams" prior to the match, but it was Bayern that looked the part Tuesday in the French capital as they withstood PSG's comeback attempt while playing the entire second half with 10 men.
Midfielder Joao Neves pulled one back for the hosts after coming on from the bench but PSG failed to salvage one point eventually.
Bayern have now won all 16 of their matches across all competitions this season.
