An absolutely incredible transfer window seems like there may still be yet another huge twist with reports emerging that PSG could look to sign Erling Haaland to replace Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe Madrid bound?
This news of course comes on the back of the reports that Kylian Mbappe looks set for a switch to Real Madrid.
News broke on Tuesday evening that Real Madrid had bid €160m for the forward for Mbappe.
That bid is said to have been rejected. However, a deal for Mbappe does now look to be close.
Marca would report on Thursday evening that Mbappe to Madrid was imminent and that Real had offered €170m plus an extra €10m in add-ons.
PSG eyeing Haaland
And now, as mentioned above, PSG look to be trying to replace Mbappe with Erling Haaland.
The information comes courtesy of the Telegraph, who report that PSG are attempting to make a last-minute swoop to replace Mbappe with Haaland and have sounded out the forward’s agent, Mino Raiola, over whether or not the striker could be prised away from Borussia Dortmund with only a few days of the transfer window remaining.
It was suggested earlier in the summer that a fee of around £150m could tempt BVB into selling the Norwegian this year.
However, links of a Haaland exit had died down somewhat of late, with many now just expecting him to leave Dortmund next summer when his release clause of around £64m becomes active.
But could we now see Haaland instead link up with Lionel Messi and Neymar in Paris?
