Parma great Tomas Brolin has offered his full support for coach Carlos Cuesta.
At 30, Cuesta's appointment by Parma raised eyebrows inside Italian football.
But Brolin said of the former Arsenal assistant manager: "I think they made the right choice. It takes courage in life. Carlos Cuesta is proving he can propose different concepts.
"Parma played good football against Cagliari. It's a shame we didn't come back from Sardinia with a few points. However, I remain very confident."
The Swede also told Gazzetta di Parma of compatriot Jacob Ondrejka: "Ondrejka was unlucky.
"I still hope it can be his year, despite the injury. In the final part of last season, he showed he could be an added value for Parma."
