Plaintiff seeks 4-Year Prison sentence for Raúl Asencio and €58k in compensation

According to a report from Marca, the lawyer representing the plaintiff in the Asencio case has demanded a four-year prison sentence for the player, along with a fine calculated at €10 per day for 20 months and a total of €58,000 in compensation.

Marca states that although Raúl Asencio did not participate in the consensual sexual activities between three teammates and two female victims, he is accused of “invasion of privacy” and “distribution of child pornography.”

The breakdown of the €58,000 compensation demanded by the plaintiff’s lawyer is as follows:

€27,000 for temporary physical and psychological harm

€21,000 for psychological aftereffects and post-traumatic stress disorder

€10,000 for emotional distress

The plaintiff’s lawyer argues that although Asencio’s identity as a footballer may seem unrelated to the damage assessment, his actions exacerbated the secondary harm to the underage victim. From the early stages of the investigation, the case has drawn public attention, and the development of Asencio’s professional career further amplified the incident’s visibility—thereby intensifying the psychological impact on the victim.
