Mauricio Pochettino has hinted at further sales this summer after warning that Chelsea need to make tough decisions to cut down their squad.
The new Blues boss inherited a bloated roster which has already been reduced of 12 first team members including the likes of N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount.
But after having to take 29 players on their tour of the US, which ends on August 3 against Borussia Dortmund, Pochettino is still keen to see the numbers reduce.
'We are 29 players here and the squad is massive,' he told reporters after their 1-1 draw against Newcastle on Thursday.
'It is about creating a squad with good balance and people who can play and can compete for their place.'
