Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted his side have 'moved on' from the penalty debacle that marred their 6-0 win over Everton this week.
The Blues romped to one of their best wins this season against the Toffees on Monday night, but a squabble over who would take a penalty with the score at 4-0 was the main talking point after the game.
Noni Madueke was seen picking up the ball after James Tarkowski fouled the winger, before an enraged Nicolas Jackson attempted to grab it off him. The pair continued to argue as Madueke carried the ball towards the penalty spot, before Cole Palmer - already on a hat-trick - pointed out he was the team's designated taker.
Palmer was then forced to shove an animated Jackson away, with Gallagher backing him up, before putting the ball down and slotting it away for his fourth of the night.
Pochettino was furious after the game and did not hide his feelings, claiming the incident was 'unacceptable' and that it would not happen again.
The Argentine has now revealed the players - along with staff and directors - had a meeting where he gave a 'clear message', with everyone now moving on.
'I made it clear after the game. We had a meeting with all the players, staff and the sporting directors,' he said ahead of their FA Cup semi-final clash against Man City.
'I explained my feelings and delivered a clear message that I delivered in my media and press conference. We move on and I think they understood the situation.
'In some [ways] it's an image you don't like, in another [way] it's good if the player wants to take the responsibility and take the penalties, show their personality and the character of the team. But they need to respect the rules.
'Discipline is so important. The way they approached what they did was in a very wrong way. Now it's important for us to learn and apply the common sense and behave in a different way in the future.'
Pochettino was a much calmer figure in his pre-match press conference than he was after the Everton game, when he fumed at the bickering among his players that he called a 'sad situation' that took gloss off a big win.
'It is a shame,' he said. 'I am so, so upset about this situation. We are talking in the dressing room about the image that we send because this is Monday night football and in every single country they were watching the game.
'We cannot send this type of image. It is a shame and I want to apologise to football people and our fans because that is unacceptable.'
Pochettino went on to say Madueke and Jackson would be 'out' if they acted in that way again.
'I told them this is the last time I accept this type of behaviour. They're all, involved in this situation, all out next time,' he told Sky Sports.
'This is not a joke. It is impossible after a performance like this.
'It shows we are in a process where we will learn a lot, we need to change and see more in the collective way than to think of individual achievement.'
Pochettino then vented his frustration towards the media after claiming they only asked about 'one thing' after the game - and he was then caught up in a row between the club's press officer and Chelsea's former stadium announcer, who accused the former of 's*** management of a press conference'.
