Paul Pogba arrived at Paris Fashion Week on crutches after undergoing ankle surgery as his absence from the pitch continues.

The Manchester United star traveled to the French capital with his wife Maria whilst his team-mates prepare for their Premier League clash with Liverpool on Sunday.

The French midfielder's return date continues to be pushed back and he is now expected to be back at some point in February after the winter break.

Pogba has barely played this season due to injury problems with just seven Premier League appearances and one Carabao Cup outing.

Manchester United have struggled without their star midfielder and are currently fifth in the league table but are showing signs of inconsistency, especially in midfield.

Pogba is not the only United man sidelined for their big Liverpool clash after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted striker Marcus Rashford 'probably won't be ready' to add to their woes.

The midfielder has come under criticism in the past for his commitment to Manchester United but seemingly he is doing all he can to aid his recovery for the Red Devils.

The 26-year-old is linked with a move away in the summer with both Real Madrid and former employers Juventus interested in United's record signing.

United are eyeing up potential replacements for the Frenchman, with interest ramping up their bid for Ajax's Donny van de Beek and Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes.

United face one of their toughest tests of the season as they travel to Anfield against the Premier League leaders on Sunday.
