Catalonia’s regional police, the Mossos d’Esquadra, are investigating an alleged sexual assault in Barcelona involving Fatinho Jr., the brother of Monaco forward and Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati.
According to reporting by ABC, the incident is believed to have taken place in the early hours of February 8 at the home of Barça star Lamine Yamal, after the alleged victim - a young Dutch woman - accompanied the group and several friends to the nightclub Shoko.
The woman told authorities she was touched without her consent and believes she may have been subjected to some form of chemical submission. She was taken to a hospital afterward for the appropriate medical examinations. The initial police report also notes that she may have been slapped.
For now, the victim has not filed an official complaint, but the investigation remains open as officers work to determine exactly what happened.
