Barcelona lineup for LaLiga clash against Las Palmas as Lamine Yamal returns

Hansi Flick is expected to have both Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres back but neither player are expected to start for the Catalan side.

After two away slip-ups with defeat against Real Sociedad and a 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo, Barcelona return to the Lluís Companys stadium to face Las Palmas (8:00 am ET) as Hansi Flick’s team look to get back on track in LaLiga with both Real Madrid and Atlético snapping at their heels in the standings.

The good news for the German coach is that he can count on the return of two key players as Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres have both been given the green light by the FC Barcelona medical team with three league games ahead for Barça in the next seven days.

Flick will have to find a replacement for Marc Casadó, who was suspended for his sending off in Vigo, and it appears that Gavi will be given that central role. The Barça coach admitted that he does not see Frenkie de Jong at 100% and the central trio is likely to be composed of Fermin, Pedri and Gavi with Eric Garcia another another option in the centre of the park.

Iñaki Peña will start in goal again with Koundé and Balde on the wings, Cubarsí and Iñigo will marshall the centre of defence with Pedri, Fermin and Gavi in central roles. Raphinha and Dani Olmo will play on the wings with Lewandowski the key striker with Ferran Torres a candidate to get some playing time in the second half.

Possible Barcelona lineup

FC Barcelona: Iñaki Peña; Koundé, Cubarsí, Íñigo Martínez, Balde; Gavi, Pedri, Olmo; Fermín, Raphinha and Lewandowski.
