£60m message to Postecoglou
Ange Postecoglou receives frequent questions about the future of Harry Kane, but he now looks to have been given the perfect answer via a £60million message.
Kane and Richarlison have shared minutes at the tip of Spurs' attack and with a summer move to Bayern looking very possible for Kane, the Brazil international provided the perfect response to those rumours by scoring a second-half hat trick against Lion City Sailors in a pre-season friendly.
The former Everton man, who Spurs purchased last summer in a £60million deal, completed his hat-trick with a cushioned header after already scoring with his head and finding the back of the net to give Spurs the lead with a clever close-range finish.
Bissouma injury update
Ange Postecoglou has admitted he does not think Yves Bissouma has picked up an injury despite the Mali international going down towards the end of the first half against Lion City Sailors.
Bissouma started the friendly in Singapore but was spotted holding his foot in some discomfort before he and every Spurs player was replaced at the interval.
When asked if he was ok, Postecoglou replied: "Yeah, I think so. He did all the runs at the end. I think he was exhausted, mate. I haven’t picked up anything from the medics. It’s fair to say they'll be exhausted after what we’ve done in the last three days but I don’t think there’s any issues."
Joe Lewis in court
Joe Lewis surrendered to United States authorities on Wednesday morning and has since appeared in a Manhattan court to face charges of insider trading.
Lewis, the British billionaire owner of Tottenham Hotspur's owners ENIC, was indicted on insider trading charges late on Tuesday by the United States attorney's office in the Southern District of New York.
He is charged with allegedly providing confidential information to romantic partners, pilots and friends and orchestrating a 'brazen' scheme.
