According to the Liverpool Echo, Quansah said he doesn't like to dwell on "what ifs," but instead focuses on being the best version of himself.

Quansah came through the Liverpool Academy and made 58 first-team appearances for the Reds. Last summer, he made a surprise move to Bayer Leverkusen for a fixed transfer fee of £30 million, plus up to £5 million in add-ons.
The 23-year-old centre-back had a successful debut season with the Bundesliga club and is currently with the England squad participating in the FIFA World Cup in North America.
In the agreement with Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool negotiated a buy-back clause of €60 million, approximately £51.7 million, and unusually, a pre-agreed contract with the player for his potential future return to Anfield.

Last season, Quansah made 44 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen, including 11 starts in the Champions League. He will be competing for a starting spot in England's final group stage match against Panama on Saturday evening.
Speaking about his decision to leave Liverpool, Quansah said: "I don't like to dwell on ifs, buts, and maybes. I take responsibility for the decisions I make, and I don't constantly dwell on them."
"I knew I needed regular playing time, and I wasn't naive enough to think that at a club like Liverpool, it would come automatically."
"So I left and joined a top club playing in the Champions League, where I could play every week, and I played about 44 games. That was incredibly valuable for my career."
"And it's not just about me, and it's not just about now; it's also about the future. As I said, I am genuinely progressing and improving."
In an interview with Football Daily, Quansah added: "I actually always think about the present. We have a big tournament ahead of us, and anything can happen week to week at the FIFA World Cup."
"In football, you just don't know what's going to happen. Just like I didn't exactly know when I would leave Liverpool, or what my time at Bristol Rovers would be like."
"So you could be anywhere in the next two years, and you could be anywhere in the next 10 years. I just need to think about how I can make an impact now, how I can be the best version of myself, and that's all I can do."
