According to RMC, the initial news on Nuno Mendes’ injury is reassuring. The Portugal international is only experiencing discomfort in his thigh, and Paris Saint-Germain are not particularly concerned about the left-back.
This is good news ahead of the upcoming Champions League clash with Barcelona. To recap, the 24-year-old defender was forced off in the 87th minute during Paris’s away match against Strasbourg, then went straight to the dressing room. As Enrique had already used all his substitutes, the reigning Champions League winners had to finish the match with 10 men.
