RMC reporter: Mbappe lied in conference; I'm 1000% sure he was misdiagnosed

The controversy surrounding Mbappe's injury continues. Although Mbappe himself has publicly denied that Real Madrid misjudged his knee during the examination, RMC journalist Daniel Riolo, who first broke the story, insists on his original statement and claims that he is "1000% certain" the news is accurate.

Kylian Mbappé, who recently recovered from injury, stated at a press conference on Wednesday that claims that Real Madrid misdiagnosed his knee injury were "untrue." However, Riolo, who first broke the news, later reiterated his position on RMC's "After Foot" program.

Despite Mbappe's response, Riolo did not back down. On Wednesday's "After Foot" program, he stated, "The higher-ups have already held a special meeting. The news I initially broke has since been confirmed by all parties… They're now using a PR strategy of complete denial. Frankly, Mbappe isn't telling the truth this time. I think this was something he and Real Madrid agreed upon. He doesn't want Real Madrid's interests to be harmed, because if this is confirmed, Real Madrid will indeed look very ridiculous."

Riolo then further emphasized, "Regarding Mbappe, I can confirm it 1000%."
