Sergio Ramos picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Athletic Club and will be thus miss Real Madrid's first match back after the Christmas break away at Getafe.

The centre-back was booked for a challenge on Asier Villalibre in the 87th minute and won't be available for the trip to Getafe on January 4.

Dani Carvajal also went into the match on four yellow cards for the campaign, but he didn't pick up a fifth and will therefore be able to play at the Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Ramos has played more minutes (1,950) than any other Real Madrid player this season, with Casemiro coming behind him on 1,920 minutes.
