Speaking after Manchester United's 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, Rangnick said: "If you look at the players against Liverpool, there are like 25 Formula One cars in the team.
Rangnick said: "Klopp came here six years ago and he finished eighth in the league after eight or nine games, which is very similar to where we are now. He averaged 1.6 points per game that season, but in every transfer window since then they have developed into the team they are today.
"I'm not blaming anyone, not my players, not anyone else, but we just need to understand what kind of squad they have. Look at their bench, look at the four players who weren't even in the lineup: Firmino was the only one injured, Chamberlain, Minamino and Elliott didn't make the roster. It shows that they have built a good team with Klopp and his team.
"It's not just the quality of the players, it's the mentality and energy they have, I would say they have 25 Formula One cars in their team."
