Rashford jokes he's not reached level of Ronaldo's aerial ability but working on

Marcus Rashford joked he is not yet reached the level of Cristiano Ronaldo’s aerial ability - but he is working on it.

Rashford nodded home from an Aaron Wan-Bissaka cross doing well to beat Federico Fernandez in the box.

It wasn’t quite as impressive as Ronaldo’s effort against Sampdoria, though.

The ex-United star leaped an eye-watering 8ft 5in to head home in Juventus’ 2-1 victory last week.

And after Rashford’s more mediocre header, he tweeted: “Not quite Cristiano jumping levels yet but working on it.”

The United forward has been operating largely on the left-wing this season, the same position where Ronaldo made his name at Old Trafford.

And current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who spent four years with the Portugal skipper in Manchester, likened Rashford to a young Ronaldo.

Solskjaer said: “Marcus Rashford’s today was a fantastic goal.
