The English winger, who was a target for Barcelona last January after being offered to them, believes that teaming up with a veteran agent would make the move easier and has now become his representative.
Marcus Rashford (27 years old) has made a strategic move in recent days to speed up his options to play for FC Barcelona next season. The club has a hole on the left wing, where Ansu Fati has not managed to gain the trust of Hansi Flick in the current campaign. In this scenario, everything points to the fact that the current number '10' of the Barcelona first team, despite having a contract until 2027, will have to pack his bags this summer to look for a place to play, recover his best level and return to being a protagonist.
Rashford has decided to put his affairs in the hands of a very mediatic, very expert agent who, in addition, lately has been closely linked to FC Barcelona: Pini Zahavi. And the main reason, apart from the many contacts that the Israeli representative based in London has, is that Manchester United's English striker has as his main objective to play for FC Barcelona. And Rashford knows of Zahavi's good entry into the club and his good relationship with Joan Laporta and believes that this can open the doors for him at the Barça team.
The same agent as Lewandowski and Flick
We must not forget two important details: that Pini is in charge of Hansi Flick, as well as Robert Lewandowski, and that Barça already explored in the last winter market the option of achieving the loan of Rashford after being offered by a trusted agent of the club who acted as an intermediary.
A loan, the easiest thing to do
The Englishman would be willing to lower the salary he has signed with United in order to help Barça. He is now on loan to Aston Villa but his priority is to wear the Barça shirt. The approach would be a loan, given that he has a contract until 2028 but Rubén Amorim does not count. Sources close to the footballer point out that talks with Barça for this summer have already begun in an initial phase. The club does not want to talk about the market at the moment.
