The Spanish Super Cup will kick off 2026 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with Barcelona facing Athletic Club and Atlético Madrid taking on Real Madrid in the semifinals of the first major tournament of the year.
The UNESCO World Heritage city will host the tournament for the second consecutive year and the third time in the competition’s history. All matches will take place at the King Abdullah Sports City, home to Alinma Stadium, better known as Al-Jawhara, or “The Radiant Jewel.”
Three matches, one venue, high stakes
The stadium will welcome fans for all three games between Wednesday, January 7, and Sunday, January 11.
Barcelona and Athletic Club will clash in one semifinal, while Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid battle in the other, each vying for a spot in the final and the chance to claim the first major trophy of the global football calendar.
Match order for the semifinals will be determined by a draw. All three games are scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. ET (10 p.m. local time).
