According to El Desmarque in Spain, Real Madrid are keen on a surprise move for one of the Bundesliga's best players in Leipzig star Werner.
He has previously been linked with Liverpool, but it now seems that Real have become the frontrunners and are planning a £68m bid in the summer.
Werner has just signed a new bumper contract in Germany, but reports state that a substantial bid would make Leipzig consider selling.
The Spanish outlet writes that Zidane has already grown frustrated with Luka Jovic following his summer arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the Serbian international struggling for both form and fitness.
