Real Madrid is negotiating new sponsorship agreements that could make its jersey the most valuable in football history. Despite being the club with the highest revenue in the world, generating more than one billion euros annually, recent reports revealed that the Spanish giants currently have only €3.4 million in cash reserves.
Massive expenses, including a busy transfer window and the costly renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu, have pushed the club to look for additional sources of income.
According to reports, Real Madrid wants to increase the value of its shirt sponsorship to at least €300 million per year. The club is expected to renegotiate its deal with Emirates, while Adidas could also raise its current €120 million contribution.
In addition, the partnership with HP, which appears on the sleeves, may also be extended with improved financial terms, potentially pushing the total value of the jersey to a historic level.
