Last Friday, SER Deportivo revealed that Vinicius has asked to match his salary with Kylian Mbappé's in order to sign the contract extension he had agreed to with Real Madrid. According to SER, Real Madrid are not considering any immediate approach in response to the new request from the Brazilian's agent. In fact, the club is trying to cool things off. He has a contract until June 2027.
With variables, the player's agent is reportedly asking for a renewal fee of €30 million per season. It would start at €25 million fixed. There has been no serious contact with the Brazilian's entourage since last winter. At that time, Real Madrid considered the deal finalized for the player to renew until 2030.
