REECE JAMES was targeted with a LASER PEN during England's clash with Serbia.
The Three Lions travelled to Belgrade for Tuesday's World Cup qualifier.
And they stormed into a 2-0 lead before half-time thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Noni Madueke.
But the game was briefly paused late in the first half after a laser pen was shone on to the pitch.
It appeared to take aim at Chelsea captain James, who started the match at right-back.
Referee Clement Turpin halted the match before running to the touchline for a briefing with his assistant.
After a few moments, the game resumed before a stadium-wide announcement was made in Serbian.
