AC Milan have shared a heartwarming clip of Pepe Reina's young son Luca following in the footsteps of his goalkeeper father.
The Spanish stopper has enjoyed a successful career with the likes of Liverpool, Napoli and Barcelona, and it appears his son holds him in high regard.
Donning his gloves, young Luca is dwarfed by the size of the goal at AC Milan's Milanello, but perseveres nonetheless to make a number of good saves.
With his father watching on, Luca dives left and right to imitate his father's training drill, perhaps hinting at a future career as a goalkeeper himself.
Reina Senior is now 36 and reaching the twilight years of his career, having played at the top level for over 18 years.
He started his career at Barcelona, playing for their C and B teams before entering the first team at the turn of the century.
He then moved on to Villarreal and then Liverpool, winning the FA Cup in his first season with the latter.
Reina spent nine years on Merseyside, before heading to Bayern Munich, Napoli and now AC Milan, where he is second choice to Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 19-year-old's inclusion in the first-team is an example of the next generation coming through, and one day it may well be Reina Jnr between the sticks.
