Report: Milan management split, allegri could leave even with UCL qualification

According to the latest report from Italian journalist Daniele Longo, the Milan management is currently divided into two factions, and even if Allegri leads the team to qualify for the Champions League, he may still leave.

According to reports, the Milan management has once again become the target of fans' criticism, and the petition against Furani is gaining momentum, with more than 30,000 signatures. Fans are planning to hold a protest at the San Siro stadium on Sunday, just like the protest against club owner Cardinale a year ago.

In this complex and challenging environment, rumors about management splits are rife: one side is Furni, Moncada and Ibrahimovic, and the other side is Tare and Allegri, and the views of the two sides have diverged in recent months.

Recent meetings have aimed to reach a consensus for the benefit of the club, and the final result remains to be seen in the coming weeks. Since January, the team has seen a sharp and unexpected decline (only 25 points in 16 games).

There may be several reasons: in the view of Allegri and Tare, reinforcements should have been and could have been made in January; but on the other hand, the club management pointed the finger at the players and coaching staff, accusing them of slackening their fighting spirit before consolidating their advantage.

Although the club has tried to solve internal problems through several high-level meetings in the past few weeks, dissatisfaction is still spreading, and many of these meetings have been lengthy, which also indicates that there are indeed many problems that need to be sorted out.

In recent weeks, Allegri has been busy dealing with various rumors, saying that he will coach Real Madrid, and that he may leave Milan. Allegri himself hopes to stay in Milan, thanks to his good relationship with the players.

But he hopes to be in the right conditions and with the support of the management. It is worth mentioning that his contract with Milan expires in 2027, and if he leads the team to good results this season or next season, the contract will be automatically extended for another year.

Regardless of whether he can win the Champions League, Allegri's future remains uncertain. At present, his focus is on Atalanta, after which he can rest assured to fully analyze the pros and cons of this job, with the goal of building a competitive Milan. Otherwise, even if he has a contract, his departure cannot be ruled out.
