According to Le Parisien, during a hearing held today local time, Kylian Mbappé sought €240 million in damages from Paris Saint-Germain, while PSG in turn claimed €180 million from the player.

The report indicates that on Monday local time, a hearing concerning the dispute between Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain took place at the Paris Labour Court, after which the amount in contention between the parties was disclosed.

According to Le Parisien, Mbappé is seeking damages of up to €240 million from Paris Saint-Germain, citing losses incurred following his departure in the summer of 2024. The French star also accuses his former club of failing to convert his fixed-term contract into a permanent one and of owing him €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses.

"This is simply a matter of an employee facing an employer who has failed to pay wages," stated Mbappé's lawyer, Delphine Weil-Heden, during an April press conference. Mbappé, absent from the hearing due to an ankle injury, was represented by his counsel, who added that her client "is committed to defending his rights, not only for himself but for all other players who have been wronged by the club."

Le Parisien further reported that Nasser-led Paris Saint-Germain demanded €180 million from Mbappé during the hearing, accusing the former player of deceiving the club after promising not to leave on a free transfer. PSG's legal team chose to disclose during proceedings a €300 million offer from Saudi Arabia, which the player rejected in July 2023. Mbappé subsequently declined to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, ultimately departing the club without a transfer fee.

Paris Saint-Germain accused Mbappé's camp of fabricating an "absurd narrative". In April this year, Mbappé successfully applied for a provisional attachment of the sum, but this decision was overturned by the court on 26 May.
