According to Chelsea blogger Simon Phillips, citing Italian journalist Sandro Sabatini, Premier League club Chelsea proactively contacted Serie A side Napoli last week to praise their handling of French defender Badiashile.
Speaking about Badiashile, Sabatini said: "Last week, Chelsea called Napoli to congratulate them on their excellent management of Badiashile. He is a very strong player, and to be honest, this really surprised me."
Badiashile joined Napoli on loan from Chelsea on August 22, 2026, with a buy option included in the contract. So far this season, Badiashile has made 5 appearances for Napoli in all competitions, starting 4 times, accumulating a total of 332 minutes.
