Bayern Munich attacker reportedly would join the Japanese J1 League and not the American League when his contract with the German club expires this summer.

The wind is shaping in Arjen Robben's future, and is no secret that Bayern Munich winger will leave the German club at the end of the current season, and it has been said he will cross the pond to arrive in the Major League Soccer, but that might not be the case anymore.

All coins were in an MLS future for the Dutch player; however, Japanese media states that the former Real Madrid player is on route to Japan to join the league where Andrés Iniesta and David Villa play with Vissel Kobe.

Earlier this season FC Tokyo stated no specific interest in adding Robben to its club, making the winger's attention turn to the American league, but reports now are shifting in favor of the Asians again.

The Japanese team reportedly submitted an official proposal to Bayern Munich attacker; it's even stated that Robben would prefer playing in the J1 League, but the same was said about the MLS.

Inter Milan, Toronto FC, and PSV are also mentioned as a possible destination for the 35-year old Bayern Munich player.
