Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski may be the oldest in the squad, but he has not lost any of his intensity in training at least.
On Wednesday morning, Lewandowski emerged on the training pitch at 11:00am for training, and began to play with the ball, before then taking shots into one of the staff members, as per MD. Lewandowski continued to do so for a further 10 minutes, before eventually asking Xavi Hernandez and his coaching session, who were in conversation some way away.
At 11:12am his colleagues eventually emerged from the dressing rooms at the Ciutat Esportiva, and training started. The Catalan daily say he was joking while pointing at a pretend watch to his manager.
Some have questioned whether Lewandowski still has the burning desire to lead the line for Barcelona next season, or perhaps more pertinently, whether he is good value for the highest wage in the squad. Certainly his attitude still seems to be there.
