Roma has reached an agreement with Olympique Marseille striker Greenwood on personal terms, and the Giallorossi are now preparing to submit their first official offer to the French club, according to football-italia.

Throughout the summer transfer window, Roma has been linked with a move for the controversial former Manchester United forward. On Saturday, multiple media outlets reported that Roma had agreed on personal terms with the 24-year-old player.
According to Calciomercato.it, Roma and Greenwood's agent have reached an agreement to offer the player a five-year contract with a basic annual salary of approximately €4.5 million. This salary will increase annually and includes performance-related bonuses.
Now, according to reports from Di Marzio, Sky Sport Italia, and other media outlets, Roma is preparing to submit its first official offer to Olympique Marseille. Other sources suggest that Roma's offer for the English player totals €45 million, including bonuses and a sell-on clause.
It is understood that Olympique Marseille wants a transfer fee of €55 million, with a difference of approximately €10 million between the two parties' current valuations. However, Calciomercato.it believes that the two clubs will eventually find common ground at a middle price.
