The Greece international is on a straight - and free - season-long loan at Roma from Liverpool.
The left-back was signed by Roma primarily as cover for Angelino, but has failed to convince coach Gian Piero Gasperini. So much so, that Tsimikas started on the bench in the absence of Angelino and Mario Hermoso for the weekend win against Cremonese.
TMW says for the moment, Roma management won't pursue a permanent deal for Tsimikas, who has 18 months to run on his Liverpool contract.
At Anfield, Tsimikas isn't considered part of the first team plans of manager Arne Slot.
