Nico Williams has signed a new long-term contract, keeping him at San Mamés until June 2035.

The new agreement includes a release clause over 50% higher than his previous €58 million figure and a significant salary increase.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona’s proposed move for Nico Williams is now officially OFF, with the deal collapsing due to registration issues. The Catalan club had been strongly linked with the Spain winger but were unable to make the transfer work under their current financial constraints.

Romano reports: “⛔️ Barcelona deal OFF due to registration issues.”
