Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has ruled out Portugal winning the World Cup, naming France as his clear favourites to go all the way.

Speaking on Sky Sports' World Cup show, Roy Keane said: "I'm going to rule out Portugal. I just think their back four… yeah, I'm ruling them out.
"Over the last few days, I've been open-minded about Brazil and Spain.
"But I think France have come into my head (as potential winners).
"Obviously the manager has to get them all on the same page, and I think Didier Deschamps does that pretty well. I think he's one of the best at doing that."
Despite his general pessimism about Norway's overall prospects for winning the tournament, Keane did point to Norway as a team to watch out for at the North American tournament.
He added: "Do you know who I am interested in watching? Nobody has really mentioned them, I'm not saying they are going to win it, but maybe have an impact… Norway."
"Haaland, Ødegaard, all these lads. You know what I mean?"
