Ruben Amorim has been appointed head coach of AC Milan following his departure from Manchester United in January.

The Portuguese tactician now makes the switch to Serie A, taking charge of a Milan side that finished fifth last season.
“There are ambitions that stay with you throughout your career, and coaching AC Milan has always been one of mine," said Amorim.
"I know exactly what this Club means: history, prestige and an extraordinary fanbase around the world. It is a challenge I embrace with pride and enthusiasm, fully aware of what these colors represent.
“I can't wait to get started and to experience every day the passion that drives AC Milan."
Amorim began his coaching career in 2018 after a playing spell with Belenenses and Benfica, as well as appearances for the Portugal national team.
He went on to manage Casa Pia and Braga before being appointed Sporting CP head coach in March 2020.
During his time in Portugal, he built a strong identity and won two league titles, two League Cups and a Super Cup, before his move to Manchester United and now AC Milan.
