Ruben Amorim is reportedly eyeing two Sporting players following his appointment as the new AC Milan manager.

The 41-year-old has been confirmed as AC Milan’s Max Allegri successor after the Italian giants failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Amorim had been out of work since his ill-fated spell at Man United, leaving the club with a 31.9% Premier League win ratio, the worst in the club’s history.
According to [a href="https://sport.sky.it/calciomercato/2026/06/16/milan-hjulmand-trincao-calciomercato-news"]Sky Italia[/a], Amorim will look to former club Sporting during the transfer window, with eyes on Morten Hjulmand and Francisco Trincao.
Both players have previously been linked with moves to Man United and Man City, although Sporting are said to be reluctant to sell either.
Hjulmand, the club’s current captain has a release clause of €80 million in his contract.
