Bukayo Saka nearly ruined a fan's viewing experience as a misplaced shot cannoned into his window.

The Arsenal star played an hour as his side edged past Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt at the Aspmyra Stadion in the Europa League on Thursday night.

And one supporter, watching the game from his flat overlooking the ground, got more than he bargained for as Saka's wayward effort nearly smashed into his kitchen.

BT Sport tweeted the video with the caption: 'Peak Europa League this,' followed by a heart-eyes emoji.

Footage shows the surprised fan - who must have previously thought he had the best seat in the house - duck for cover and raise his hands in comic alarm when the 21-year-old ballooned a first-time right-footed shot high and wide of goal.

The Gunners currently lie top of Europa League Group A after the win, boasting a 100 per cent record in the competition this season.

They beat Swiss side FC Zurich 2-1 in September, before overcoming Bodo/Glimt 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium last Thursday, a week before their narrow 1-0 win in Norway.

Mikel Arteta's side are currently first in the Premier League, with eight wins from their opening nine games, one point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City.

They travel to Leeds on Sunday looking to retain their lead at the top of the table.
