Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has decided to cut short his vacation and return to England tomorrow, Friday, following the death of his teammate, Portuguese international Diogo Jota.
Liverpool Football Club officially announced, on Thursday, the death of Diogo Jota (28 years old) in the Spanish province of Zamora.
A Liverpool source told Yallakora that Mohamed Salah has decided to cut short his annual vacation, which he is currently spending in Greece, and will return to England tomorrow, Friday.
Salah was expected to remain in Greece until next week, but he changed his mind after Jota's death, along with Liverpool's.
Liverpool players will return to the club this week to prepare for the new 2025-26 season, a Liverpool source told Yallakora.
Liverpool is set to begin their pre-season preparations this month, with a friendly against Preston on July 13.
